Very interesting video you found on YouTube and so relevant to JOhn's presentation last week. It's great to see examples of social media being incorporated successfully into the classroom. I agree with you that allowing students to use these media's will increase their engagement in the lessons and that they will most likely walk away feeling that they have learned something and be excited about how they are learning. Also agree that it would be awesome if student's could each have a laptop to use during class that they hand back in like textbooks at the end of class-this would allow for so much expansion on mehtods and activities that you could use to teach the students and make the lessons very relevant to their personal lives as well as to teach them the skills and technologies that are now staple outside of school.
